About this event
Visit Ames’s first school! Hoggatt School, located on the Meeker School grounds, is an 1860s one-room schoolhouse with summer programming hosted by Ames History Museum. Open Sundays, June 5 – July 31, 2-4pm (closed July 3). All-ages programs include making soap and butter, schoolhouse spelling bee, schoolyard games, and more.
